#libgaming Chat Transcript for 7/7/2010
The topic of the day was Core Collections. I’m not sure if people are on vacation, or what, but the discussion was decidely low key. And, it wandered to gaming in academic libraries and cataloging issues – both of which could be a topic in and of themselves, in a future chat!
So, in addition to the (brief) transcript that follows, I’m including a recent purchase of $1500 worth of video games as a core collection for a library in MA. Titles are bookmarked and annotated at http://www.delicious.com/informationgoddess29/corecollections, and tagged with console and rating.
