The 8BitLibrary team and YOU (well, if you want to) will be going to Jinx Proof Tattoos in Washington DC on SATURDAY JUNE 26TH at 4:30PM.

The bummer? They don’t take appointments. JP and myself will be getting tattoos and we’d love for you to be there to support us (one of us will cry, but who?) or get your own tattoo. Of course, there will be lots of pictures and video. Which leads me to this:

that is really strange they don’t take appointments or is this something they have said for this specific group? i will more than likely will be there…anyone have an idea of their prices?

When we called, we got “we don’t do appointments on Saturday.”

I’m going to call them about my own tattoo and get an idea of their prices. I’ll keep everyone updated on what to expect.

That’s what I am thinking. The project became a whole mess of not fun in general when I attempted to schedule a massive tattooing. I thought “Like tattoos, people should be able to do(get) what they want” and 8Bit will be here at this time if you want to join in.

I’m hoping to see lots of folks! I’ve got my tattoo picked out.

they only do walk-ins on saturdays. the rest of the days of the week are set aside for scheduled appointments, of which you must be in-person to make.

Oooh, I’ve been seriously considering a classic heart w. a banner that says “398.2″ (My BA is in Mythology) but I was going to wait until I finish my MLIS in December. Is is asking for bad luck if I get the tattoo before the degree?

Do you have a ballpark idea how long everyone’s will take at Jinx Proof? I’d love to come down to get mine done there, but I have a session that doesn’t end until 5:30 (trying to decide if I should scramble down there, or just find somewhere else :) )
